"I have just finished reading Foxbat and found
it an exciting read that I did not want to put down. The book is fast
moving with plenty of twists and turns whilst staying close to the main
plot. Developing the theme and including political/social elements has
moved this book more towards the writing of Tom Clancy. Any book that
makes you think in a contemporary setting is excellent. The beauty of
the plot is that it could be about to happen tomorrow given recent
events in North Korea. A very good read and the lead character 'Paul
Richter' comes across as a very down to earth person who is dedicated to
the job that he does whilst carrying the usual resentment that many
operatives feel towards their management team. I look forward to finding
out what Simpson means by the codeword 'FRANTIC' and how this will
impact on Richter in Timebomb. Good read, congratulations to
James Barrington."
"My son took this book on his honeymoon (weird huh?) and said I simply must read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not long after, purely by coincidence, a pal sent me the co-ordinates for Wonsan to look at the runway going through the mountain. These days with so many spoofs on the net I wasn't sure, but fun anyway. I am really looking forward to reading the book you have written with Adrian. Going to order it now."
"Obtained it through Amazon, devoured and enjoyed every bit as much as Overkill."
"I have been eagerly awaiting your latest publication, which I have thoroughly enjoyed! Due to inefficiency at my local bookshop, I only managed to get hold of a copy on this past Saturday, and finished it yesterday evening. It has been quite a time since Pandemic was released, and although Foxbat is shorter, it is certainly a fantastic book, presenting exciting action and some fascinating ideas. I enjoyed your book immensely, and I look forward to the next!" "Got Foxbat on Thursday 20th September and finished reading it on Sunday 23rd. Couldn't put it down, it was another great read. Was so glad that Paul Richter was the main character again, you feel he is real and that you know him well, like a friend really. My husband is now reading it, your three books have got him reading again. I have told quite a few people how good your books are and I know some of them have got them and agreed with me. I am so looking forward to the next one, but I guess I will have to wait a year now. Once again thank you for another terrific book."
